A little update on our family

Yikes, It's been a whole year since I blogged last. My how time has changed! So I think it's time for an update, don't you?

Well let's see where to begin? My goodness!

Donavan is working at All State insurance building cases. He was hired on last year as a contractor. He's put in many of hours and has his ups and downs with how he likes it but we've decided that this is going to be a job he sticks with for a good long time....per they hire him on full time, which we pray for daily. As of right now there is a paper on his bosses bosses desk to extend his contract. Again, we are praying about this! He is well paid and works hard. I am so very proud of him!

I am currently working on Sundays at our church as a nursery worker. It gives me a little extra cash that I enjoy spending how I please.....mostly it's on my boys. No surprise there!

As valentines day approaches I would like to say how very blessed I am as a wife and as a mother. I am so filled with love for all 3 of my guys! Being a wife to Donavan is such a great joy. I am so happy I chose to spend my life with him! Yes, we have our moments but honestly this past year I have fallen more in love with my husband like I never knew possible. Seeing him as a daddy to our boys and having him come home to us every night is like Christmas morning. Seriously! I know it sounds so silly/cheesy but honestly I can not express the love I feel for Donavan. God has blessed us so much....even in the hard times, we are blessed!

Our boys! Oh Timothy and Travis. The little men out lives...such a joy!

Timothy will be 5 in July. It's so hard to believe! He reminds us everyday that he wants a Jaguar cake on his birthday. He also started Pre-k. He loves going to school! He's so funny. You never know what will come out of his little mouth! He is sweet, loving, challenging, a smarty pants....but most of all he is a great big brother and son. He fills our lives with the unexpected. He's always learning something new. It's so amazing to watch his little world bloom.
He's very much a typical boy. He likes cars, trucks, rescue heroes, dinosaurs and building blocks. The boy can build crazy towers! Maybe he will be a architect when he grows up? It wouldn't surprise me in the least!

Travis just turned 2! My baby is no longer a baby!
He always has a smile on his face and a train in his hand. We celebrated his birthday with a Thomas the train themed birthday party. It was a blast and he was surrounded by lots of people who love him! He's a busy little guy. He's always running, jumping, climbing and he is talking more and more everyday! He loves to play with his "choo choo trains" or just about anything with wheels. He thinks it's hilarious to get dirty too. Oh boy. my hands are full with this one. He knows just the right smile to use that he thinks he will escape out of trouble...not that he gets into to much.

I know there is so much more to update on but I am tired. Hopefully I will remember to come back and update again very soon.

I am blessed! I thank God daily for this life he has given me!
